We're excited to announce the release of major update to our driver app, InCab! This update is packed with features designed to make work smoother and faster, for both drivers and the office team. The new update - version 4.1.7 - includes a host of improvements designed to optimize performance and streamline workflows for drivers, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
Everything's Faster!
The biggest change in 4.1.7 is a dramatic increase in speed. InCab now communicates with our Transport Management System (TMS) much more efficiently. Every second counts, and any amount of slowdown both harms efficiency and, perhaps more importantly, can just be plain annoying. With this in mind, our team have made substantial improvements to InCab's performance in version 4.1.7, empowering you to get more done in less time.
Here's a breakdown of the improvements:
Walk around checks don't wait to sync
Massively optimised walk around check uploads, WACs now appear within seconds in TMS on driver completion, with the only bottleneck being internet speeds.
Job information from drivers get sent to TMS faster - times on, times off, job notes, wait times, weights
All your job data, including times on/off, notes, wait times, and weights, gets sent to the TMS sooner. This is a game-changer and allows the office team to move forward without waiting on the updates they need.
Driver uploads of documents and PODS
Improvements to communication between the TMS and InCab mean that upload speeds for files are much quicker.
Creation of your custom branded customer specific dockets with sign on glass done in seconds
We've been working on a lot of changes "under the hood", with huge strides made to optimize our document creation service. Custom dockets for your customers that used to take minutes now takes seconds - this is, without exaggeration, an improvement of multiple thousand percent and we're very excited to be releasing it as part of this update. The only thing slowing dockets down now will be how fast driver's can input the information.

How to get the update
If you already have InCab installed from the App Store or Google Play Store, the update will download and install automatically. Otherwise, or if you're not seeing the update yet, you may need to contact support.
