Kili 2022 – Charity trek
The team climbed Kilimanjaro and had an exciting journey, travelling to Africa and ascending to the Ice of Kilimanjaro.
We would like to thank our sponsors, Hannon Transport, EI systems, Carna Transport, Macroom Haulage, Fegan Transport and South Coast logistics for their kind support. Our charity funds are over 14K and we expect to complete donations to our charities before Xmas.
So if you would still like to donate, please use our Go Fund Me link below.
Meet the team
John O’Driscoll is our product manager and enjoys marathon running. Greg Kelly is our CEO and he enjoys any challenge, and has been to Kili twice in the past. Tom Keating is the final member of the team, he does not work with Stratum but has been a great hiking buddy of Gregs for years.

Here is the history of the trip, our charities and our current sponsors
In 2019 we planned a trip to Kilimanjaro to raise money for good causes, that were close to the teams hearts. Little did we know that in a few short months, the plans would come to a halt as Covid swept across the planet. Everything stopped, we kept hoping for the change that would allow everything to start again.
Well in 2022, we are proud to share that the Team are finally going, flights are booked, trek company engaged and 3 excited trekers are ready to get going.
This trek above the clouds to the Glaciers on Kilimanjaro will be a celebration of those that we have lost along the way and a journey of discovery to warm our hearts and mark this commitment to raise money for charity each year.
